Murder investigation launched after man stabbed to death in Coventry
Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was stabbed to death in a fight in Coventry yesterday (12 June).
The victim believed to be in his early 20s was found with serious stab wounds to his leg in gardens behind Franklin Grove in Tile Hill.
The emergency services were called at around 2.30pm to reports of a fight involving a group of young men.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detective Inspector Nick Barnes said:
A cordon remains in place at the scene and police are appealing for any information.
A post-mortem examination will take place tomorrow (14 June).
