Man charged with rape and murder of woman in Leicester

An 18-year-old man has been charged with the rape and murder of a 27-year-old woman in Leicester.

The body of Leah Fray was found inside a flat on Mere Road in the city on Easter Sunday after police were called following a report of a fire.

Curtis Moyse, of Avonside Drive in Leicester, has also been charged with arson with intent to endanger life.
