Burst water main floods Derby streets
Guest at a hotel in Derby were forced to leave by climbing down a ladder after a burst water pipe caused disruption in the city.
Water was flowing down King Street across the Inner Ring Road at St Alkmund's Way by Jurys Inn.
The torrent has since retreated from St Alkmund's Way but is still strong around the hotel.
Some houses in Derby have been left without water.
Engineers from Severn Trent are on the scene and placing sandbags down to stem the flow of water. The water company has apologised and said it's working to get things back to normal.
