Abandoned at Christmas: Snoop dog finds his forever home
Millions of people around the world watched heartbreaking CCTV footage of a man abandoning his dog just days before Christmas - now he has got his happy ending in a new forever home.
A man was captured on CCTV leaving the Staffordshire bull terrier type dog by the side of a road in Stoke-on-Trent. In heartbreaking scenes, the dog chased after the car as it drove off.
Laurence Squire met Snoop at the RSPCA’s Gonsal Farm Animal Centre, in Shropshire, where he was being looked after - and they instantly clicked.
Snoop is still suffering from separation anxiety, as a result of his abandonment, and needed a home where someone was around all day.
Thousands of people were moved by the CCTV footage and offered to give Snoop a home including his namesake, LA-based rapper Snoop Dogg.
The RSPCA say Snoop and his owner already have a strong bond - Snoop is living like a king.
