Knives found near children's play area during random police search

Police in Coventry have been sweeping parks as part of a national knife crime operation called Op Sceptre.

They recovered several weapons which included a kitchen bread knife and a small saw in bushes near a children's playground.

A play park can be a popular place to stash weapons. Sweeping parks is just one way the police are trying to deal with knives.
