Boots have confirmed today that between 300 and 350 jobs are at risk as they look to restructure parts of its head office.

They say 800 colleagues will be under consultation as part of the process.

The company says the restructure will "reduce decision-making time and complexity as well as improve efficiency."

They think that it will reduce head office costs by around 20%.

They say colleague representatives will now be elected and the 45 day consultation period will officially start after this point.
