Special service to remember homeless man Kane Walker
A special service to remember homeless man Kane Walker who died during freezing temperatures in Birmingham will be held today.
The 31-year-old, was found dead at 3:30pm on Sunday 27th January.
Passers-by found his body under Smallbrook Queensway, just a short walk from the shopping centre.
In upsetting scenes recorded last summer, Kane was seen in a video sobbing and telling a charity worker: 'I'm done. I can't do it no more' just months before he died.
He continued to tell the workers that he "could no longer live like this".
The service will be held at St Chad's Cathedral and is open all day.
It will begin at 11am on Sunday (17 February).
