Mum whose son took his own life speaks out about online bullying
Felix Alexander from Worcester was 17 when he took his own life.
He had been a bright and happy schoolboy but a constant barrage of online abuse and bullying from other youngsters, even from some who didn't know him, drove him to take his own life in April 2016.
A year later his mother Lucy battled against her grief to recount in a harrowing video the moment she knew something was terribly wrong.
She speaks out on internet safety day, as she is trying to raise awareness to stop this happening to other young people.
Last week Health Secretary Matt Hancock wrote to social media companies urging them to remove content that could lead people to self-harm or worse, promising to legislate if they don't comply. Lucy Alexander says it's a step in the right direction.
Lucy now campaigns in schools for tighter controls on harmful content and online bullying. She says her words often resonate with victims and perpetrators.
