Royal fan receives letter from Prince Harry and Meghan after congratulating them on their pregnancy

A Warwickshire man who sent the Duke and Duchess of Sussex a letter to congratulate them on expecting their first child was surprised to hear back from them.

Mo Patel from Nuneaton wanted to congratulate Prince Harry and Meghan after hearing she was pregnant.

The royal fanatic wrote them both a letter alongside a card in November expressing his excitement at the good news and wishing them well through it all.

Mo wrote in his letter that he was over the moon when the royal couple announced their pregnancy in October.

Yesterday (Wednesday 30 January), Mo was shocked to discover he had received a letter back from the royal couple.

However, Mo says this isn’t the first time he has received a card back from the royal couple.

He wrote to them on many special occasions including; Prince Harry’s birthday, Easter, Christmas, engagement and wedding. It doesn't stop there either, as Mo plans to post his next card after the royal baby is born.

Meghan, who is heavily pregnant, is expecting her first born in April.

She made her first official visit to the National Theatre since succeeding the Queen as its patron yesterday (Wednesday 30 January).

The Duchess has an affinity with the National Theatre after spending a decade working as an actress in television, where she was best known for her role in the US drama series, Suits.

The Duke of Sussex was also busy on Wednesday as he met with young people from across the Commonwealth as part of his role of Commonwealth Youth Ambassador.
