Who coined the term 'Brexit'?
It was named the word of the year by Collins English Dictionary in 2016 - but who coined the term, 'Brexit'?
Peter Wilding, the Chairman of British Influence, from Shropshire, is credited with inventing the word.
He wrote about "Brexit" in May 2012, eight months before the then Prime Minister David Cameron announced he would be holding a referendum.
Theresa May famously declared that "Brexit means Brexit", but soon the Oxford English Dictionary came up with it's own definition.
