Jimmy Osmond diagnosed with stroke after performing at Birmingham Hippodrome
Actor Jimmy Osmond has been diagnosed with a stroke after performing as Captain Hook in Peter Pan at Birmingham Hippodrome.
A spokesperson for Jimmy Osmond said:
The theatre have confirmed he will be replaced by TV star Darren Day in the production later this week.
He started rehearsing for the role today and will be appearing on the Hippodrome stage from later this week.
Jimmy’s understudy, Luke Redford, will continue to cover the role while Darren prepares to take on the part.
