Fog for many areas, often dense and locally freezing.

Wednesday:

Starting with a widespread mix of mist, low cloud, hill fog and perhaps some patchy drizzle. Then little change for northern areas, while further south sunnier conditions will gradually arrive. Maximum temperature 10 deg C (50 deg F).

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Thursday mainly dry, often cloudy but some bright spells. Friday and Saturday are likely to be largely cloudy and dry, becoming breezy but also mild.
