Confiscated Staffordshire knives become part of anti-violence sculpture

An anti-violence sculpture has been created using hundreds of knives confiscated during two weapons amnesties.

Staffordshire Police say 1800 knives being taken off the streets in the region.

The Knife Angel is a national monument against violence and aggression created at the British Ironwork Centre in Shropshire.

The sculpture, unveiled in Liverpool, is made up of weapons confiscated from 43 police forces across the country.

It aims to show the impact knife crime has on people's lives.
