A mum says she was 'stunned' and 'disgusted' after she had a parcel delivery ended up in her toilet.

Jade Elliott, from Matlock in Derbyshire, ordered an item from Amazon, and it was delivered on Sunday 2 December.

Unfortunately she was out at the time as she had taken her two children to see nearby Christmas lights. While there, the 26-year-old had received a message saying her parcel had been delivered by the Hermes delivery company.

When she got home, she found a note saying it had been posted through one of her windows, but she couldn't find it as she looked around the house.

The she realised the package had been put through an open frosted-glass window, and landed in her toilet.

Jade contacted Hermes, who apologised and directed her to contact the sender if the item was damaged.

A spokesperson for Hermes said, "We would like to apologise to Ms Elliott for what is clearly an unacceptable delivery. We have spoken to the courier involved to ensure that this does not happen again."
