Fears Brexit could separate devoted couple from their pet pigs

A couple are so concerned Brexit will separate them from their pet pigs that they're moving abroad before it happens.

Liane Scholz, who is originally from Germany, and her partner Michael Maughan currently live in Derby with their pot-bellied pigs Ludwig and Wilhelm.

But with the uncertainty surrounding moving livestock post-Brexit, they're worried their beloved pigs would have to be left behind if they decided to move after March.

Now they've made the brave decision to move back to Germany before Brexit happens, meaning they can take Ludwig and Wilhelm with them.

It's such a sudden decision, the couple haven't got the money yet to pay for a move. So Liane is crowdfunding by making and selling a range of pig-themed merchandise.
