Businesses bid to be part of Commonwealth Games 2022

Businesses in the Midlands are being encouraged to get involved with the Birmingham Commonwealth Games in 2022.

The organising committee held a special briefing today (27 November) to tell companies how to bid for work. They're keen to get local businesses involved - and one of the first contracts has already gone to a local company.

Former athlete and multiple-medal winner Jonathan Edwards was at the event and says the Commonwealth Games are a big moment, both for Birmingham and the West Midlands.
