No evidence found in search for Suzy Lamplugh in Sutton Coldfield garden
A search of a house in Sutton Coldfield as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Suzy Lamplugh has found no evidence.
They have been on site for more than two weeks at the house which previously belonged to the prime suspect's mother.
The current residents are not implicated.
This is the scene at the Sutton Coldfield property where officers have been digging - there used to be a garage here.
A search began after new information was received earlier this year about Miss Lamplugh's presumed murder in 1986.
A team of around 15 officers and staff have excavated parts of the garden, used ground-penetrating radar and had an archaeologist on site.
Miss Lamplugh disappeared in 1986 aged 25, having left her west London offices to meet a mystery client known only as Mr Kipper.
Despite widespread searches she was never found and no one was convicted over her death.
The Metropolitan Police have been digging at a Birmingham property previously belonging to John Cannan's mother.
