Schoolchildren create 'tommy soldier' from 300 paper poppies
A group of schoolchildren have created a "tommy soldier" display from more than 300 paper poppies.
Each poppy has a child's name written on it. It was made by pupils at St Thomas More Primary School in Sheldon, Birmingham.
The display will stand in the school entrance as a tribute to soldiers who fought in the First World War, and to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of the conflict.
