Three arrested on suspicion of murder after man found with fatal injuries in Birmingham

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after another man was found with fatal injuries in Birmingham.

Police were called to reports of suspicious activity on Walford Road, Sparkbrook, just after 7pm.

A man was found with serious injuries. He died at the scene.

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in police custody for questioning.

Officers have cordoned off the area, and are carrying out house-top-house enquiries.

Detective Inspector Warren Hines, from West Midlands Police, said: "We are working to establish what has happened this evening, which has led to the sad death of this man.

"At present the circumstances are less than clear so I would ask anyone who was in the area at the time and saw or heard anything suspicious to get in touch with me personally as soon as they can quoting log number 2488 of 6 November."
