Novelty Advent Calendars for sale at up to £600 each
A Wedgwood novelty Advent Calendar is on sale this Christmas for a whopping £600.
Designed in the shape of a Georgian house, the Stoke-on-Trent based pottery firm say it is intended to be "an heirloom to be enjoyed year after year."
It features 24 individual Wedgwood tree ornaments in the company's iconic blue and white.
It was available in the shops from November 28, but several editions of the bespoke collection were snapped up before that online.
The trend for novelty Advent Calendars is getting more and more competitive each year.
Boots, which is based in Nottingham, has become renowned for its No.7 make up calendar - which has already sold out this year, despite the price tag of £42.
The store sells 15 beauty calendars including a Cath Kidston branded one for £40, and a Disney princess calendar for those on a smaller budget, retailing at £16. Although that only contains 12 gifts.
John Lewis also has a beauty advent calendar containing 25 products from various brands - retailing at £165.
For car lovers there's even a 'City Vehicles and Accessories' calendar to count down to the big day.
They've gone big on food and drink calendars.
