McDonald's in Nottingham apologises and removes Halloween poster of knife wielding zombie
McDonald's have taken down Halloween decorations at one of their restaurants in Nottingham and apologised if any offence was caused.
The poster in their Netherfield restaurant showed a zombie wielding a knife which was dripping with blood.
They said,
Nottingham has seen a series of violent incidents in the last few days.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in North Sherwood Street. A 21-year-old man suffered life-threatening stab wounds to his leg. He remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.
Detectives have been granted further time to question three men arrested on suspicion of murder following an incident at the Forest Park and Ride in Forest Fields.
Four people have now been arrested in connection with an assault involving three men and a woman in Burns Street, the Arboretum. A man and a woman were taken to the Queen's Medical Centre with minor injuries but have since been discharged following the incident at 7.30pm yesterday.
