Duke and Duchess of Sussex take part in netball shootout during Loughborough visit
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex went head to head in a netball shootout at Loughborough University.
The Royal couple joined opposing teams to show off their competitive streaks as they visited the East Midlands for a sporting ceremony.
Meghan Markle was joined by gymnastics coach Scott Hann, tennis star Laura Robson and had the added bonus of England netballer Eboni Beckford-Chambers on her team.
Prince Harry, meanwhile, shot hoops with marathon world record holder Paula Radcliffe, former England batsman Mark Ramprakash, ex-England rugby player Ugo Monye and ex-US basketball star David Robinson.
The Duke and Duchess are in the East Midlands for the Coach Core Awards Ceremony, which took place in Loughborough today (Mon).
The ceremony is for young people who could make a future in the world of sport.
The scheme, set up by The Royal Foundation in 2012 to use the power of sport to help change lives, trains hundreds of young apprentices and puts them in touch with the biggest sports clubs in the country.
The apprentices, who are not in education or employment, get tuition, a wage and hopefully a chance to become the next generation of sports coaches.
