Healthy Holidays: five healthy snacks

It can be tempting to grab something bought and processed when you feel hungry.

As part of our Healthy Holidays series, ITV News Central has teamed up with Sporting Communities to show you five healthy snacks which are quick to make, and contain a range of different nutrients.

  • Homemade crisps - tortilla wraps seasoned and sprayed with olive oil. Cook for about 5 minutes. Make a salsa with chopped tomatoes, red onion and olive oil. Serve with avocado.

  • Banana bagel - make with wholegrain seeded bagel and slice banana on top. Good source of carbohydrate.

  • Peanut butter on wholegrain seeded bread.
