Tributes paid to 'caring, thoughtful and kind' woman found dead in flat
The family of a woman who was found dead in a Leicestershire flat have described her as having 'a heart of gold'.
Tracey Evans, 52, was found inside the flat in High Street, Measham in the early hours of Monday morning (August 6).
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Now her family have paid tribute to a 'caring, thoughtful and kind mother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend.'
In a statement they said:
Jeremy Clarke, 54, of High Street, Measham, has been charged with Tracey Evan's murder.
He appeared at Leicester Crown Court on Thursday (August 9) morning where he was remanded into custody.
A plea hearing is due to take place on September 10.
A 39-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder was released from custody with no further action on Monday.
