Two murder arrests after woman's body found in flat

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman's body was found in a flat in Leicestershire.

Police were called to a flat in High Street, Measham, just before 2am today (Monday 6 August), concerning the welfare of someone inside.

When officers arrived, they found the woman's body. Formal identification has not yet taken place.

Two men aged 39 and 54, from Leicestershire, have been arrested and are being questioned.

Forensic investigations are taking place at the flat, which is cordoned off, and police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
