From photography to dance to documentaries, generations today are playing their part in ensuring the Windrush story doesn't disappear in the future. Patrick Vernon, a film-maker from Wolverhampton has made a documentary about Eddie Martin Noble, who came to Britain from Jamaica.

Eddie was one of 10,000 Caribbean people who served in World War II, and Patrick's work explores the historical relationship of the Caribbean islands and the "mother country".

Patrick has been campaigning for more awareness around Windrush on the 70th anniversary. As part of his work he's developed a Windrush board game to help future generations learn more about the journey made over the years.
