£5,000 reward for information on whereabouts of suspect in fatal firework attack

The Crimestoppers charity is offering a £5,000 reward information on the whereabouts of an 18-year-old man, who is wanted for murder over a fatal house fire.

56-year-old Anthony Nicholls died in the fire on Birtchtrees Drive, Tile Cross,on November 7th 2017.

The father-of-one suffered severe burns and smoke inhalation after a large firework was lit and pushed through his front door, causing the house to go up in flames within minutes.

He rescued from the property and placed in an induced coma, but never regained consciousness.

His partner was left with multiple leg fractures after being forced to jump to safety from an upstairs window.

Anothony Blake is wanted for questioning in connection with Mr Nicholls' murder. The 18-year-old is thought to be in Sheldon, Birmingham.
