A bench has been unveiled at Beeston Weir in Nottinghamshire in memory of a young schoolboy who drowned there last July.

He has been widely honoured as a 'hero' with tributes and accolades.

In March, his family set up the OWEN Trust water safety programme in his memory. The programme is aimed to educate young people about the dangers of waterways and how to save people from drowning.
