Thousands take to Derby's streets for half marathon

Thousands of people have gathered at Pride Park Stadium earlier today for Derby's half marathon.

It's the first time Run For All have organised the event.

Mel Beale, who celebrates his 70th birthday today, was among the thousands who took part in the run. He hoped to complete the race in under two hours.

Mr Beale recently ran the London Marathon.
