This Evening and Tonight:A dry start with mist and low cloud mainly affecting the coast at first but clearer spells elsewhere. Cloud and mist spreading southwestwards overnight, with some isolated heavy showers affecting the far south of the region.

Thursday:Duller conditions moving back towards the coast through the morning, leaving a mainly dry day with warm sunny spells. Showers, perhaps thundery, affecting mainly southern parts later.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:Cloudy with outbreaks of heavy and occasionally thundery rain at first Friday, drier later. Brighter, drier and much warmer Saturday and Sunday, with sunny spells but cooler towards the coast.
