20-tonne lorry crushed after being linked to 28 fly-tipping offences
This is the moment a lorry linked to 28 major fly-tipping offences across the West Midlands was crushed by the Environment Agency on Friday.
The 20-tonne vehicle was seized by officers last year as part of an investigation into large scale dumping in the region.
The lorry was allegedly used to transport and dump between 30 and 500 tonnes of shredded commercial waste on farmland, private wooded estates, secluded public footpath areas, and business compounds.
The driver and passenger were questioned by the police and remain a part of the investigation.
