It's an exciting time for Wolves fans, with possible promotion around the corner. One well-known fan, local actress and singer Beverley Knight, has sent the team a message of luck before the games this weekend from St Annes in Jamaica.

Wolves have had a remarkable season this year and manager Nuno’s ambition of reaching the Premier League could be accomplished this weekend.

They have won 28 out of their 42 Championship games this season and have lost just six.

In their last game, they recorded a 2-0 over fifth place Derby County, with one of their stand-out players, Ruben Neves scoring what could be a goal of the season contender.

However, manager Nuno Espirito Santo is only focussing on the game at hand.

If Wolves beat Birmingham on Sunday they will be promoted regardless of other results, but promotion can be cemented before they’ve even kicked a ball.

  • Scenario 1 - Wolves to be promoted on Saturday

For Wolves to be promoted on Saturday their focus must be on the Fulham game.

If Fulham fail to beat Brentford in the evening kick off then Wolves would have clinched promotion without kicking a ball.

  • Scenario 2 - Wolves to be promoted on Sunday

If Wolves don't secure promotion on Saturday they still can on Sunday.

For this to happen they simply need to win.

No matter what Cardiff or Fulham do on Saturday, 3 points for Wolves is enough to guarantee them a return to the Premier League.

  • Scenario 3 - Wolves to win the Championship title this weekend

Wolves can’t win the Championship title on Saturday no matter what their rivals do but can on Sunday.

For this to happen, Cardiff will need to fail to beat Norwich on Saturday and Wolves will need to beat Birmingham.

Fulham’s result will not matter with a Wolves win as they will still be 11 points behind.

  • Scenario 4 - Wolves don’t get promoted this weekend

First of all, Fulham will have to beat Brentford on Saturday.

If Cardiff get at least a point away to Norwich and Wolves don’t win it will roll over to the next set of fixtures.

Relying on Fulham to drop points may not be realistic as the London side are on a good run themselves. They haven’t lost in the Championship since December 2nd 2017, more than four months ago.
