Snow showers fail to dampen St Patrick's Day celebrations
Wintry showers have failed to dampen spirits at this year's St. Patrick's Day celebrations in Nottingham.
Old Market Square was a blaze of orange, green and plenty of white, as hundreds braved the blizzard-like conditions on Ireland's national day.
The annual parade went ahead as planned, but the organisers decided to cancel the stage entertainment because of the bad weather.
