Flood warnings in place for parts of the Midlands

The Environment Agency has issued flood alerts across the region this evening.

There are currently around 20 alerts in the Midlands, including an alert for the River Derwent in Derbyshire.

There is also a flood warning for the River Avon at Wyre Piddle in Worcestershire. Twenty houses have been affected by flooding in Burton-Upon-Trent in Staffordshire.

• Rolleston Brook and River Dove at Rolleston
