"The future is very bright": JCB announces 600 new jobs in the Midlands
Manufacturing giant JCB has announced it is creating 600 news jobs in the next three months in its Staffordshire and Derbyshire plants.
Over 200 operatives including welders, paint sprayers and assemblers are needed immediately in the company’s plants in Rocester, Cheadle, Rugeley and Foston.
In 2009, the firm cut almost 700 positions because of a drop in demand.
