Severn Trent ask customers to save their water
Severn Trent have asked its customers to reduce their water usage to allow everybody to have water.
Supplies were cut off in the south of the city because of burst pipes.
Water was restored in South Birmingham but they expect some people in pockets of south Birmingham to experience some poor pressure or intermittent supplies again as demand increases when people wake up.
This is because of another influx of bursts reported overnight.
Emergency bottles of water are available this morning at Sainsbury's in Frankley Beeches Road and Tesco on Stratford Road in Solihull.
Jaguar Land Rover and Cadbury had a limited water supply yesterday to allow Severn Trent to keep water supply on for our household customers and for the Queen Elizabeth, City and Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
The water supply to both businesses has been restored and staff at Jaguar Land Rover have been asked to return to work as normal.
