American students pay tribute to victims of Leicester explosion

Students at a university in American have paid tribute to the victims of an explosion that took place in Leicester last month.
Five people lost their lives after a large explosion ripped through a shop and a flat in Hinckley Road last Sunday evening.
18-year-old Shane Ragoobeer and his 17-year-old brother Sean both died in the tragedy while their mother Mary, who is 46, is also believed to have lost her life. Leah Beth Reek, 18, who was Shane’s girlfriend, has been confirmed as another victim. Viktorija Ljevleva, 22, of Oldham, is also one of the deceased.
Students and staff of Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania, gathered on Monday to commemorate the victims and reach out to the families affected.
The tribute was initiated by Geoffery Gulzar, who is studying BA Sports Coaching at Bloomsburg Univeristy but he grew up in Leicester.
Mr Gulzar went to school with the Ragoobeer brothers and thought it was right to honour them.
Geoffery sent out an appeal on twitter for people to the gather to pay tribute.
