Man arrested after missing woman found dead

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a missing woman was found dead in a property in Birmingham last night.

33-year-old Charlotte Teeling was reported missing to police on 26 February but she was found dead at an address in Cooksey Lane, In Kingstanding, Birmingham, at 21:50 last night.

Enquiries led officers to an address in Coventry in the early hours of this morning (3 March), where a 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder.

Detective Inspector, Jim Colclough, from the Homicide Unit at West Midlands Police, said:

Police are now appealing for information on Mrs Teeling's movements since the 22 February, which is when she was last seen.
