Family fight for six-year-old son to be allowed cannabis oil to treat his epilepsy

The family of a six-year-old boy with epilepsy are fighting for him to be allowed to use medicinal cannabis oil.

Alfie Dingley, from Kenilworth, used to receive steroid-based treatment, before his family took him to the Netherlands, where they say cannabis oil made a big difference.

The Prime Minister has been unable to offer any assurances about whether it could be legalised in the UK.

Alfie's story has gained attention in the House of Commons, with the MP Crispin Blunt asking Theresa May if the Government would help.
