Six-year-old girl dies after being found unresponsive in Nottinghamshire village
A six-year-old girl has died after being found unresponsive in a Nottinghamshire village.
The young girl was found shortly after 3pm on Monday (February 19) on Lincoln Road in Tuxford.
She was rushed to Sheffield Children's Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Flowers have been placed outside the semi-detached house which was being guarded by a marked police car.
A pink doll's house could be seen in the front garden which was sealed off by officers.
Local residents are reported to have witnessed Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance on the scene, as well as a heavy police presence.
