Police investigate Leicestershire sheep attacks

Police are investigating after bricks and lumps of rock were reportedly hurled at sheep on a farm in Leicestershire earlier this month, causing serious injuries to pregnant ewes.
It comes after thirty lambs were killed in a dog attack on another farm in the region around the same time.

Farmer's unions have urged dog walkers to keep their pets on leads when around livestock to prevent them hassling or hurting animals.
