Image released of man who may have been victim of crime

Police are trying to trace a man who they believe was the victim of a serious offence in Birmingham.

Officers have released an image of the man in the hope of it helping identify who he is.

The alleged incident is said to have happened at around 6pm on Thursday 11 January in Edgbaston Road, Balsall Heath.

Police say four men were seen trying to force the man into a silver coloured hatchback, but when they failed to get him into the vehicle, they drove off.

Passers-by went to check on him but he ran off and has not been traced.
