All platforms open at Nottingham station

There is a 'near normal' service at Nottingham Train Station following Friday's fire.

East Midlands Trains confirmed all platforms were now open and they were hoping to fun a 'close to full service' from today (Sunday).

Although the IT systems are still down following the suspected arson attack, the lifts on platforms 1, 3, 5 and 6 are working and temporary toilet facilities have been arranged.

Jake Bell, Managing Director of East Midlands Trains, praised the efforts of staff who have worked hard to get the station back up and running so quickly.
