TISWAS has been named one of the most popular children's TV shows of all time.

The Saturday show was made by ATV in Birmingham and aired between 1974 and 1982.

TISWAS - which stood for 'Today Is Saturday, Watch and Smile' - starred Lenny Henry and Chris Tarrant.

The original budget for the first series was £300.
