League One side Shrewsbury Town have earned a replay against Premier League opponents, West Ham, in the FA Cup third round.

The Shropshire side took on West Ham for only the fourth time in their history with Shrewsbury welcoming back former player Joe Hart, who started his career at the Shrewsbury academy.

It was a sunny day at Montgomery Waters Meadow and the England goalkeeper required some help from a fan as they threw him a hat to help him see past the bright sunshine.

The Shrews, currently sitting 2nd in League One, dominated possession for most of the game and they could have won it in the 87th minute when Jon Nolan skied over from 12 yards out after a cross from Stefan Payne.

Shrewsbury will now travel to the London Stadium in the replay, with Paul Hurst's side hopeful that they can beat the odds again and make it past the third round for the first time in 14 years.
