Pardew determined to get Christmas victory
The Head Coach of West Bromwich Albion says he's determined to reward his fans with a win for Christmas.
Alan Pardew is searching for his first victory as the Baggies boss since taking over at the end of November after Tony Pulis was sacked.
On Saturday his side travel up the M6 to local rivals Stoke City, who themselves are struggling in the Premier League.
Pressure is mounting on the Potters boss Mark Hughes and his Stoke side after five defeats in their previous six games.
West Brom are currently 19th in the table, while Stoke sit a place outside the relegation zone in 17th by just a single point.
The last time these two sides met was in August at the Hawthorns. It ended 1-1 after goals from Jay Rodriguez (West Brom) and Peter Crouch (Stoke).
