Firefighters tackle large fire in Leicester

Six fire engines have been tackling a fire which started at approximately 04:40 inside an industrial building as one road remains closed.

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service say they were called to the blaze at Hamilton Business Park, Leicester, after machinery caught fire inside an industrial building.

Hilltop Road has been closed after the fire and drivers are advised to avoid the area, if possible.

Hamilton Hilltop nursery which is at the end of Hilltop Road has also been closed.
