Nottingham Panthers out of Champions Hockey League

Nottingham Panthers are out of the Champions Hockey League after losing 3-0 to Swiss side ZSC Lions on the night, and 6-1 on aggregate.

The first leg took place in Switzerland last week, where Panthers lost 3-1, bringing that score to the Motorpoint Arena.

Panthers were the lowest ranked side in the competition out of the 32 teams that qualified.

They were the first British side ever to reach the last 16 of the tournament.
