Thieves attack ATM with chainsaw and gas canisters
Police are appealing for help after thieves attacked a cash machine with a chain saw and gas canisters.
It happened in the early hours of this morning (Saturday 28 October) at a Post Office in George Street in Lutterworth.
After causing extensive damage to the front of the Post Office, robbers broke into the ATM and made off with cases of money.
Police believe five people were involved driving a dark coloured vehicle. It follows similar incidents, some involving stolen diggers, across the county.
