Man tied up and burgled in his own home
A police investigation is underway after man was tied up in his own home and reportedly threatened with a gun and a knife during a robbery in Nottinghamshire.
It happened in the Gunnersbury Way area of Nuthall at about 2.30pm on Monday (23 October 2017).
Police say the victim heard a knock at his door and opened it to find two males who said they were there to make a delivery. They forced their way into his home and bundled him into the living room where they tied him up by his wrists and ankles.
The robbers then searched his home taking expensive jewellery and watches, including Gucci watch and Rolex. They also threatened the victim with what are believed to have been a gun and a knife. The men left the property two or three times to a vehicle believed to have been parked outside over the course of 45 minutes.One burglars of the burglar has been described as a white male wearing a grey hooded top and a fluorescent orange tabard. The victim wasn’t able to give a description of the other man.
